Terms and Conditions

  1. Veterinary physiotherapists are required to treats under the veterinary referral in accordance with the veterinary surgeon’s act 1966 and exemptions order 2015. Clients must have a referral form from their veterinarian before commencing any physiotherapy sessions. If your animal has not been directly referred from a vet, then I will need to contact your vet to acquire a referral form before the appointment. Spring meadow may need to refer back to the veterinarian for further investigation if deemed necessary. Animals seen to maintain good health and optimise competition can be seen without specific veterinary referral according to new guidance by RCVS standards committee.

  2. Spring meadow veterinary physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse any treatment if it is either deemed inappropriate or unsafe.

  3. Spring meadow veterinary physiotherapy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal data collected within booking forms and during the session will be stored securely and kept for 7 years as required for insurance purposes. Paper records will be stored securely in a locked storage cupboard and electronic copies will be stored on an external hard drive and locked when not in use.

  4. If you are claiming for your physiotherapy treatment from your insurance company, you must have approval from your insurance company prior to physiotherapy and you must pay for appointments up front and then claim back through insurance who will reimburse you for the costs later.

  5. Spring Meadow will provide a receipt after each session for your records, and to support any insurance claims. If any additional administration (additional to the receipt provided) is required by the insurance company, an admin fee of £5 will apply.

  6. Spring Meadow will charge the Client for the Services as quoted in the Booking Form and the Client agrees to pay the Service Provider the Fees, promptly when they fall due. Should any payment within the agreement remain unpaid for 7 days after it falls due, Spring Meadow will be relieved of their contractual obligations under this agreement to provide the Services until such time as payment is made. Clients can pay via bank transfer within 7 days of the service or cash on the day.

  7. If the client cancels with less than 48 hours of the scheduled service, then 50% of the fees will need to be paid. If the client cancels with less than 24 hrs of the scheduled service, then 100% of the fees will need to be paid. However, if your pet has an illness or contagious disease you will not incur a charge.

  8. Lateness of more than 30 mins will also be deemed as you missing your appointments and 100% of fees will need to be paid.

  9. If your pet has any dietary requirements, please let me know prior to the appointment. I will be using primula cheese; liver paste and gravy bones. If you dog cannot have any of these treats you will be asked to supply an alternative option that your pet can have.

  10. Spring meadow reserves the right to use any photography taken during the treatment session (This may include promotional photos for social media). If you do not wish to have photos taken of your pet, please notify me before the appointment. I will also ask for permission of photography on the booking form to confirm.

  11. It is your responsibility to declare any potential dangerous or harmful behaviours which may be elicited by the animal prior to the appointment.

  12. Spring Meadow reserves the right to discuss the animal’s case with the referring veterinary surgeon as required, with the potential to refer back to your veterinarian for further investigation/input
