£50 - Initial appointment £40 - follow up appointment What happens during my appointment? - A comprehensive subjective assessment to get to know your pet. The ACPAT physiotherapist will ask about your cats condition, as well as questions about their behaviour, medication, and past medical history to gather all the appropriate information. - A detailed objective assessment will follow to observe canine posture, gait assessment to check for lameness and a palpation assessment to check the muscles and joints. This will also include a functional assessment to look at your cats daily activities and a neurological assessment if required. We offer a range of treatment options: - Manual techniques such as joint or soft tissue mobilisations, massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, stretches. - Electrotherapies such as TENS device, muscle stimulation device and Laser. - Tailored exercise programme completed in session with equipment, and one to be completed at home - Gait re-education - Advice to manage your animal's condition between physiotherapy sessions
